I wake up feeling good and go to bed feeling good because of the care they provide for me. Every time my caregiver comes to provide me with care they do an amazing job and I don't have to worry about if I'm going to receive quality care.

I'm a little older myself, and there are things I'm just too tired to do myself. The two days they come, they just have to get her out of bed. It's a personal thing because my mother is older and is very easy to care for and can get around pretty easily in her walker. They don't even have to bathe her. They comb her hair, brush her teeth, and get her to the bathroom. They get her something simple, like peanut butter and jelly on toast. If the bed isn't made right, she'll say something. They don't have to do much for my mother, so I really would appreciate any extra help they can give me.

He couldn't walk and he needed to be changed, so they did that piece of it, and he felt loved by people that he knew. That was so important for us to be able to have that in the home as well. I liked the CNAs. They were fabulous! Once we got started, we had the consistency of having three or four CNAs coming in, and that was very important for my dad because he had dementia. They were caring and knowledgeable as well.

I think it has worked out well. I think they did not want to impose on my mother-in-law so some areas could have been cleaned better. They could improve overall cleaning capability. We originally set it up for cleaning and companionship. They have been responsive to most everything.

She makes everything look so easy. I do little things before she comes, and she comes in and is busy all the time. She is quite a gal. She is a worker, cleaner, and took me out one day for lunch and I returned the favor today. We were celebrating our birthdays.

I couldn't bend because of my surgery. They washed my bedsheets, laundry. They were so delightful and very helpful and very willing. I liked that they sent wonderful people, and they were very clear of what they could and couldn't do.

She has dementia so she needs someone with her 12 hours a day so I am not concerned that she is going to fall or get up by herself. I liked the way they keep in touch with me and they let me know if there are changes in caregivers or delayed and they send copies of the billing.

She does extra and light housekeeping. She is willing to please and I like that. They are very good about keeping me supplied with a caregiver when I need it. When I have any extra shifts or need anything extra to go to, they have always supplied me an extra caregiver to go to. I am very grateful for their service, they have never left me high and dry.

I came home from work and I saw the client walking down the street and the caregiver was long gone. I would not recommend this agency to anyone. I think that all the discipline they gave Bert was probably just a slap on the wrist. She is in charge of billing.

Unfortunately, in very rare cases we don't know someone is not a good fit for this field of work until an issue presents itself. While concerns and issues in this particular case were addressed with the client/family to their satisfaction, the negative impression of their experience remains. I get three meals. They arrive at 8am and are gone by 1pm. They could walk the dog. Whoever they send must be a very good cook. They have to take into account my very bad hearing. It's sometimes hard to communicate.

They helped me with heavy stuff like detergent and heavy supplies for my car. For the most part, the people were able to do the tasks. They were physically fit, as requested, but there was one person they sent who came and looked at my garbage after I told her to take it out. She told me that she wasn't sure if she could do that. I guess I should have called the agency to tell them that they sent me someone who couldn't do the most basic task. I was pretty much mobile by then. I had to go out on the porch and explain to her where the garbage was. I decided to help her. When it was time for her to do the dishes, she kept criticizing me. She would ask me if there was a reason that I had to do things that way. I told someone from the company to please not send her again. I like to pre-wash my dishes by hand before I put my dishes in the dishwasher. I instructed her what to do. The bending motion causes strain in my back. She was just sitting on a chair in my dining room. She told me that she had another suggestion for me. I told her that she should give fewer suggestions and stop sitting and get to work. She was angry with that, and she left.

We really like Right at Home we have used other companies before and after a few problems we switched to Right at Home. My family member has dementia and she can be very confused and upset at times. Recently we had a new caregiver come by, a short girl named Shirley we loved her! My family member was all smiles and really happy. Thank you Right at Home Shirley treated my family member with respect and was so kind and sweet. She knew how to speak to my family member and to help ease her anxiety. You can tell she has a lot of experience with dementia care and this was what we wanted! We don't want someone who is clueless so meeting Shirley was great. She cleaned up and cooked and made sure my family member was cleaned up and fed. The best part is she stayed focused on my family member and talked about music and the weather and old time favorite television shows. I thank you all! It was so nice seeing her so happy. She was very upset when Shirley had to go, we will be requesting her the next time we need care in our home.

Right at Home seems to be very concerned about the patient and getting a compatable caregiver to suit the situation. The caregivers have been very helpful. They do any "chores" asked. I highly recommend them!

We went with Right at Home. When we interviewed the woman that came out, she was very, very good and very personable. So far, it is working out. The caregivers only come in once every couple of weeks. They're doing laundry, they're changing the beds, and they're cooking dinner and cleaning up. My parents are very happy with them. They show up in a nursing outfit -- they don't just come in in regular clothes -- so they're very professional, and they look for things to do.

I would not trade either gal for any other. Jen has been with me for 3 years plus, and Norma has been with me almost a year. Right at Home has been a good fit for me, and they seem to cater to my wants and needs. I can be somewhat demanding, and they seem to have the combination.

This may include things like meal preparation, laundry, housekeeping, hygiene and grooming. We also offer services for those with special care situations caused by numerous medical conditions such as Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. Custom Care Plan
From the moment you call, we begin considering the specific needs of your loved one. We ask questions during the initial call or meeting to form a basic needs assessment. After discussing your particular situation, we will prepare an initial Custom Care Plan and then work with you to fine tune that Care Plan based on your loved one's specific needs. Once the plan is agreed upon, your local Right at Home team matches the right caregiver to implement the plan.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
Every Right at Home caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. Once hired, caregivers are trained through Right at Home University to ensure that they're able to deliver the care set out in your loved one's Custom Care Plan. Before providing care, they're bonded and insured.
